Looking at the world through a ‘dirty’ aura, what do you
see? How accurate is your perception?
Have you ever accused someone of being angry with you,
only to hear them claim, “I’m not!”
How could people be so stubborn as to deny it? It’s clear from the body
language, the way they look at you, even the way they breathe. Do they think
you’re a complete dummy?
Looking at the world
around you through a dirty aura is similar to peering through dirty glasses. You
just can’t see clearly. Our thoughts and emotions are real. They are energy.
And as Einstein said, “Energy does not disappear.” If our thoughts and emotions
are energy, and energy does not disappear, then where do these energies go? Remember
the Peanuts Gang… Charlie Brown and his friend Pigpen? Pigpen was the boy who
walked around in a cloud of dirt, little poofs of it always coming off him.
Like our friend Pigpen, we carry these energies around
with us; we dump them in our homes and our offices. All that stress you felt at
work yesterday… you brought it home with you and plopped it in your living room!
Over time, this stuff accumulates, and soon everyone at home is looking through
‘dirty glasses’. No wonder after years of living with your dream partner, you
seem to stop seeing the good qualities you first fell in love with. You're looking at them through a grey cloud of ‘negative’ energy!
Who you calling dirty!?
We use the word ‘dirty’ for lack of a better term. The
energies I’m talking about are essentially energies that are not beneficial to
us – energies of stress and anxiety, fear, resentment, anger, depression… all
those heavy feelings, emotions, and thoughts that we all have as part of the
human experience.
What Can We Do?
One of the many useful tools Pranic Healing has given me
is energy hygiene. We take showers to keep our physical bodies clean, but how
about our energy bodies?
Salt + water =
shower for the energy body
A salt shower cleanses the aura, so life’s daily stresses
don’t accumulate and cloud your perception.
Water has the ability to absorb energy, while salt has the ability to neutralize or disintegrate negative energies.
The person you thought was angry with you… you may have
had the energies of anger in your aura. Since you were not feeling angry at the
time, it was easy to assume that it was coming from outside you. That’s what
looking at the world through a dirty aura is like. If there is ‘anger’ in your
aura, then everything you look at is tinted with these energies. It’s not the
same as feeling angry; it’s more subtle.
How Do You Take a Salt Shower?
You can use any kind of salt except Epsom salt for your
salt shower. Epsom salts are useful, but they are not actually salt. Save them
for the purposes they serve. I like to use table salt. It’s cheap, and it’s
soft on the skin. Wet the body, and then take salt by the handful and rub in
gently all over the body. It actually softens the hair and skin! Do this with
focus and the intention to remove diseased and dirty energies. Your intention
makes this powerful. If you think this is all hocus-pocus, try a salt shower no
focus or intention. Just rub the salt all over, without thinking about why.
Then try it with intention. You can be specific with your intent: remove all
energies of stress. Compare.
